01What we collect
We collect information you provide, such as your phone number, name, city, CNIC (for verification) and the ads you post.
We also collect basic usage information to keep the service working and secure.
02Why we use it
We use your information to show your ads, connect buyers and sellers, verify identities, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
We use your location, when you allow it, to show animals and buyers near you.
03What we share
Your public profile and ads are visible to other users. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only as needed to operate the service or where required by law.
04Your CNIC and verification
CNIC details are used to verify your identity for a trusted badge. They are handled securely and are never shown publicly on your profile or ads.
05Analytics and session recordings
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use Qasvah: which pages are visited, which searches are made, and which steps of posting an ad or contacting a seller are completed. It uses cookies and a random identifier. We never send your name, phone number, CNIC, chat messages or other personal details to Google Analytics. We keep this data for up to 14 months.
On a small, random sample of visits we use Microsoft Clarity to record how the page is used (clicks, scrolling and page changes) so we can find and fix problems. Text you type is masked and is never recorded. Clarity does not run on your account, chat, payment or verification pages.
Analytics do not load if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can also block these cookies in your browser settings; the marketplace keeps working without them.
Google and Microsoft process this data on our behalf, under the privacy policies published on their own websites.
06How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your account credentials private.
07Your choices
You can update your profile and ads at any time, and manage privacy and notification settings in your account.
To delete your account, open Account and choose Delete account in the app, or use the Delete account page. To request a copy of your data, contact us through the Contact page.
